Shree Shree Maa Anandamayee was seen as a India's woman saint from this Bhakti tradition acknowledged by Indian gurus like Yoganandji, Shivanandji, Baba Ram Dass, Baba Hari Dass, Mahatma Gandhi and many others. Ma & Me: The Anandamayi Ma Documentary

A long-awaited documentary on the life of beloved Indian saint Anandamayi Ma (1896 -1982), known as the Bliss Permeated Mother. The film includes precious archival footage of Ma Herself, moving reminiscences from devotees who actually knew Ma, and personal stories from others who never met Ma but are deeply affected by Her. Vinod is a gifted Bhajan and Kirtan singer and prefers the traditional Bhajans from the Bhakti kaal poets. He performed at the World Bank in Washington, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti in 1999, singing all of Mahatma Gandhi's favourite Bhajans. Some of his recent bhajans are on the below youtube sites:

Bhakti Night is an evening of Devotion, Mythical Stories, and celebrating the Love found in the spiritual path. Please join us for a vegan dinner at 6:00 p.m. and Kirtan (call and response singing of sacred chants) from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome! No amount is necessary, the event is on a donation basis (Individual's discretion)!
